Bashir Sultani' Art with Salt

They say it’s bad luck to spill salt, but Toronto-based Bashir Sultani clearly has little regard for superstition, as he has no problem spilling the seasoning and shaping its fine crystals into detailed portraits of modern icons. After spilling salt onto a black background, Afghan-born Sultani uses basic tools, like a razor blade and Q-tips to manipulate the grains into portraits of actors, singers, popular movie characters and other icons. He makes it all look easy in his videos, but it’s obvious you need a great deal of patience and skill to create such original masterpieces. check out his YouTube channel for more making-of videos of his amazing salt portraits. http://www.youtube.com/ bashirsultani · January 22

Foods of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) : Black Seeds (Kalonji)

Black Seed Considered a Universal Remedy The Prophet Muhammad (Peace be Upon Him) said in his divine wisdom about the Black seed "Use this Black seed, it has a cure for every disease except death". It is originated from Turkey and Italy. Later on, it was brought to Asia by physicians and cultivated in India. Now a days, it is cultivated throughout India, whereas it is wildly grown too. It is incorrect that Arabs learnt its use from Greeks, because before the advent of Islam in middle east no description is found on record about it’s use. It’s therapeutic use was initiated after the advent of Islam, since, Prophet Muhammad (Pbuh) mentioned its therapeutic efficacy and potential of cure. Hadi

Praise be to Allah the Lord of the Worlds, and endless blessings be upon our Beloved Messenger, the Last Prophet of Islam(Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam). It is clear that mushrooms are not haram. Mushrooms, are an umbrella shaped vegetable that grow in the earth, out of which some are poisonous. Because mushrooms are not normally consumed in the subcontinent or the middle-east, some people seem to think that the vegetable is haram. Yet any vegetable that is not misused in any way, as magic mushrooms, are sometimes used to satisfy the habit
